Then there were two - inter county managerial jobs
After Colm Coyle announced he was stepping down. Mickey Ned O'Sullivan is after doing some job in Limerick. They should have shut up shop defensively against Cork in the Munster Senior Championship to prevent the rebels saving their bacon with crucial late scores and more signals of how times are changing in Gaelic Football were in evidence at the Gaelic Grounds over the weekend as the Shannonsiders emerged 4-12 to 4-3 winners. Limerick even led by 17 points with 12 minutes remaining. Under Liam Kearns watch they could have caused an upset and the Treaty city men must now feel they are in touching distance of making an impact on the intercounty senior football scene, which shows what you can achieve if as Ulster Bank might say "you have the right people behind you". Sean Boylan was reluctant to put the boot in on the Vodafone GAA Show on Sunday morning, but Coyle obviously felt as a member of several great Meath teams over recent years that losing to Limerick in the traditional sense was a new low for the once proud Royals. Any suggestions on a successor?

looking at the result of the wexford dublin clash on sunday in which wexford where very poor, you could say that after wexford beating meath in the manner they did that saturdays result was not a shock (except the scoreline).meath are very hard to read at the moment as they really should have beaten dublin last year and then died very badly against cork later.its hard on colm coyle who was a real warrior for meath down the years to watch the new batch losing like they have done.is there a case for a foreign manager as such?have they too much knowledge of each other and if so, sean boylan's reign has to be marked as truly remarkable. meath no doubt have talent coming as usual but as in every county keeping it together is always the hard job. let's hope it's not the end for meath because they are truly the only team that can put it up to dublin. donal coman, tipperary abu!!!!!
