Fermanagh first out of the blocks with their Sound of Summer!

Gaa songs are an annual tradition and the first recorded occurence this summer has made an appearance.

Ger Treacy who is hugely involved in the GAA not only Fermanagh but across the province of Ulster got in touch about his ditty which Lynrd Skynrd and Kid Rock might be consulting their solicitors about.

"I work as a sports reporter / commentator with the BBC Sunday Sportssound programme bringing live coverage of Gaelic Games every Sunday from February right through until November. However being a Fermanagh man this past few weeks have been really special and I have recently being involved in producing the official anthem of the Fermanagh Team namely 'Fantastic Fermanagh' – mind you I am not a singer.

A number of well know artists like John Farry, Sinead Quinn, Michael Leonard, Anthony McBrien and Sean Corrigan along with Fr Brain Darcy myself got together a few weeks ago and put together what has turned out a very popular number.
