Dublin v Wexford Stats...

It’s a fascinating prospect between defending champions, Dublin who are bidding to win the Leinster title for the fourth successive year (a feat they last achieved in 1992-93-94-95) and Wexford who are bidding for their first Leinster crown since 1945.

It will be the first Dublin-Wexford final since 1933 when Dublin won by 0-9 to 1-4 while Wexford’s last Leinster final win over Dublin was in 1917 when they edged to victory by 1-3 to 1-1.

Dublin are chasing their 48th title while Wexford are pursuing their 11th.

The sides last met in the Leinster championship in 2005 when Dublin won a semi-final clash by 1-17 to 2-10. Tomas Quinn scored 0-10 for Dublin while PJ Banville was Wexford’s top scorer on 1-2.
